GoBooking provides scheduling and booking tools for professionals. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how you can reach us. If you have questions, email us at support@gobooking.gr.
Data we collect
- Account and contact details you provide, such as name, email, and business information.
- Booking-related details you submit through the platform.
- Usage and device data collected automatically (e.g., browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) to secure and improve the service.
Payments and billing
GoBooking does not process or collect customer payments for bookings on behalf of businesses. Payments for services are handled directly by the business through the payment processors they connect (for example, Stripe). Businesses may offer payment methods such as card payments or local options available through their chosen processor.
Businesses who choose paid plans are responsible for their subscription payments. The Free plan does not require a subscription payment. When a paid subscription is due to auto-renew, we will send the business a reminder in advance. GoBooking will never request customers to send payments directly to GoBooking; if you receive such a request, it may be fraudulent — contact support at support@gobooking.gr.
To be clear: GoBooking's revenue comes from business subscription fees only. We do not receive payments from customers for business services. If you are a customer and are asked to pay GoBooking for a business's services, this is not correct — please contact support immediately.
Important: Customers pay businesses directly. Businesses decide how to accept payments (for example, in-person, via bank transfer, or via payment links). GoBooking does not provide payment collection or escrow services for business–customer transactions. Any payment arrangements are between the customer and the business, and GoBooking is not responsible for disputes, refunds, or fraud resulting from those transactions.
Subscription refunds
Business subscription payments collected by GoBooking are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or in exceptional circumstances. Businesses may contact support at support@gobooking.gr to request a refund review. This policy does not alter statutory rights under consumer protection laws.
Fraud warning
If you are asked to send money in a way that seems unusual or if a payment request purports to be from GoBooking but is not visible in your account or booking flow, do not transfer funds. Contact support immediately at support@gobooking.gr.
How we use data
- To operate, maintain, and improve the GoBooking platform.
- To provide customer support and respond to requests.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To send important service updates. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in and can be opted out at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We currently use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage of our site, including metrics like how many visitors are on the site. We use it to improve performance and reliability, not for cross-site tracking or building advertising profiles. If we introduce additional cookies or tracking tools in the future, we will update this notice and request any required consent before they are placed.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may impact some functionality.
Sharing
- Service providers that help us host, monitor, and support the platform (including Google Analytics for usage metrics).
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) where necessary.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the service.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required.
Your rights
